Responsibilities:

• Acting as engineering leader in organizing local resource, internally and externally, onsite to ensure NPI engineering builds in factories in achieving the program targets in terms of quality, scheduling, validation, etc.
• Monitor builds, lead and facilitate regular NPI build review mtg, provide summary reports as required
• Partnering with Platform PDM, closely work with virtual x-team in troubleshooting, categorizing, debugging of the issues discovered during builds. Make call locally at factories in timely manner in sake of quality and schedule. Track and follow up for closure
• Co-work with Sustaining team, Quality team for customer field escalations, provide proposal of engineering solution as necessary
• Co-work with local engineering team in defining, optimizing factory process for productivity improvement, prod. Line yield improvement and cost reduction
• Support to NUDD features as required, and extend coverage to sub-tier vendor factories as necessary
• Co-work with Architecture team for new technologies development, and provide support from factory operation perspective
• Be able to work independently, self-motivated, used to work style of remote mgmt.
• Work environment would be supplier based factories, with regular access to office

Education and Experience Required:

• Engineering degree. Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering would be preferred
• Program mgmt. experience would be preferred
• Experience would be a plus with the ODM factory management
• MNCs experience would be preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

• Flexible to assignments and work locations, regular travelling would be expected
• Good communication skills, good team player, spoken and written English is desired
