We are hiring lead architects with at least 10 years of experience to design and engineering a security control stack for a new financial services infrastructure in China, servicing multiple legal entities.

This is an opportunity to design and build a green-field technology stack based on modern principles. This specific role will be focused on the following technologies;

 

·         Endpoint security controls (e.g. Tanium, Symantec DLP, Defender, Defender ATP, Avecto)

·         Security event data/SIEM (e.g. Hadoop, Splunk, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Sentinel,

·         Investigations tooling (e.g. Encase, Nuix)

·         Data Leakage Prevention (e.g. Symantec DLP, M365 Security & Compliance Center)

 

Working alongside architects for network and authentication, the initial task will be evaluation of suitable products and the development of a strategy and target state infrastructure. The candidate would then switch to a more hands-on, building, building lab and non-prod systems in line with and MVP based agile approach.

 

Overall, we are looking for a talented multi-platform (Linux/Windows) engineer with a good appreciation of security principles and technologies. Once technology decisions and strategy are set, we plan to hire additional SRE/Operations resources to help with the build/operate tasks and day-to-day support.  Given the broad control objectives and small team, the candidate should be able to adapt to change in priorities and be fungible to different technology areas as required.
