Purpose of the mission: Provide Technical solutions and suggestions for purchasing team when select new suppliers and replacement raw materials.

Responsivities:

• Work with quality department, ensure any incoming quality issues and concerns are solved timely
• Work with NPI team to support new product develop and launch, take part in weekly NPI meeting and source the new components, new vendors for new products.
• Integrates and applies supply chain management best practices to support and comply with corporate wide commodities strategies and initiatives
• Leading sourcing saving project and set up saving deck and drive material cost per requirement.
• Audit and approval new vendor per ER vendor selection standard with quality and engineering team
• Follow vendor’s samples plan and to meet project timing requirement
• Follow the sourcing strategy to manage the vendors for continue improvement
• Negotiate with vendor for payment term & shorten the component lead time

Requirements:

• College’s degree with a minimum of 5+ years sourcing related experience
• Technical background is a must, well understand the main raw materials in electronics industry, such as cores, cooper, tin glue, etc.
• Project management skill
• High passion and self-motivated, team work spirit
• Good at communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and project
• Good command of English will be a plus
