A.    Main Purpose of the Roles ·       

• Program manager is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, coordination, control and completion of assigned market new product/platform as required by customers. ·       
• These innovation activities should be part of the business growth strategy of the company and will involve cross-functional and multi-site international teams. Responsibilities shall include ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.   

B.    Key Areas of Accountability:   ·       

• Plans projects to meet WeEn overall business goals and objectives.   
• Leads, inspires, encourages and drives project team members.    
• Ensures timely activity, integration, productivity and efficient use of resources to meet requirements.     
• Organizes the project and arranges the management activities in terms of quality, time, costs, information and organization.
• Manages projects within a budget and maintain team flexibility and cohesiveness in response to aggressive time schedules within a fast paced, potentially changing environment. 
• Ensures all given objectives of the team are properly documented and approved.   
  

C.    Dimensions ·       

• Through their innovation and customer support activities, Program Manager has key responsibility for manage new product release to market within a given time period. This will contribute to our goal of continuous improvement in our market share and overall profitability. Specifically his/her role is key to achieving the target annual growth rate of the sales value and profitability of this business.     

E. Key Issues Facing the Role: ·       

• The Job holder need to be a motivated and dynamic individual who is capable of multi-tasking and is able to manage multiple programs and tasks within a given time period. The candidate must have a proven knowledge of program management aspects and techniques including program creation and maintenance, budget management, resource management, strategic planning, and risk / issue mitigation. Familiarity with PMBOK methodologies and standard product life cycle practices is required.   
  

F. Key Decisions: ·       

• Leading the planning and implementation of programs from creation through market introduction. ·       
• Responsible for the planning and successful on-time execution of programs involving multiple cross-functional organizations and global teams. ·       
• Definition program scope, goals and deliverables, definition of program tasks and resource requirements, development of full scale program schedules, management of program budget, identification and mitigation of program risks and management of tasks to bring the program to a successful completion. ·       
• Establishing effective communication within the program teams as well as periodic upwards status reporting to executive management.

• Yearly reviewed with Line Manager, according to new development projects/tasks assigned.

• Program Manager is both a managerial (project management) and professional role, requiring the jobholder to Have a good educational and employment background in Electronics and Semiconductor Industry. Having an extremely high level of energy, drive, and creativity to solve complex business problems; possess strong leadership capabilities and quickly gain respect amongst the senior management of the company; be a charismatic motivator and leader. Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills. Is capable of thinking through problems in a systematic and logical manner.
