Purpose: 

* Passion for innovation and technologically advanced outdoor products
* Ensures both the technical superiority and the quality/integrity of outdoor products
* Provide quality direction to supplier’s, cross functional teams in producing outdoor products that meet customer requirements aligned with adidas expectation
* Collaborate with BU Developers, Product, Material teams, Sourcing, and manufacturers to recommend /develop new materials, construction techniques, processes for outdoor products that meet Design expectations, and costing targets
* Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices and new processes and technologies.
 

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for driving the development of outdoor products from creation to delivery, meeting all Technical/Quality parameters
Independently manage development process, plans, and tracks the development schedule of Outdoor products following the development calendar
* Support and partner with outdoor suppliers / Vendor Ops teams to rapidly implement feedback from product team to ensure product is of the highest quality
* Support & drive effective communication between external and internal business partners and own and lead assigned global projects by keeping close communication with co-workers
* Implement programs and tools for supplier development to achieve continuous improvement of product quality and performance and process consistency
* Supervise random audits on performance of outdoor suppliers, across quality, capabilities, processes and guide them on upskilling and training requirements
* Provide relevant technical & quality trainings to internal and external teams on outdoor products processes, manufacturing techniques and testing requirements
* Conduct technical evaluations of current and potential new adidas outdoor suppliers and support the creation of action plans to address gaps
* Be aware of adidas social compliance standards to support SEA team and identify risks or threats to the business well ahead

职位要求：
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

* A comprehensive knowledge of outdoor product construction, manufacturing process, fit, pattern and production management.
* Ability to identify issues, analyze facts and make technical / quality/production decisions and guide suppliers in solving them
* Project management experience
* Strong management and leadership skills
* Excellent communication skill
* Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
* Good IT skill (Office Software, PPT, and Excel
 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

* Minimum 6 years’ experience in textile manufacturing or technologies and 3 years manager experience
* Degree or certificate in Textile Technology or Textile Engineering, or equivalent related technical experience in the areas of garment manufacture
* Working experience in global outdoor company and outdoor manufacturing (factory) will be preferable
