Job Title: Merchandiser

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Supporting our German office in all China activities, including liaising with suppliers/ factories in Mainland China on different sourcing / running projects
• Coordinate and support day to day operations including project follow up, sourcing / order management, sampling, packaging and coordination of shipments.
• Maintain on-time shipments, preparing shipping documents for consolidation and checking with suppliers on all deliveries.
• Maintain and update supplier database including related documents.
• Provide support to our warehouse staff.
• Perform Ad-Hoc duties when required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in merchandising / sourcing field.
• Experience working in a European buying office will be an advantage.
• Gained experience studying abroad will also be an advantage.
• Past experiences working with Home & Living products will be an asset.
• Excellent communication skills with good command of English and Chinese, including writing and speaking.
• Team player, organized with good project management skills.
• Proficiency computer knowledge (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Word / Excel/ PowerPoint).
• Immediate availability will be an advantage.
