Day to Day Responsibilities:

? Contract manufacturing process lead, lead contract manufacturing technical activities and yield improvement.

? New product qualification and migration to mass production, work with QA to define/improve key attributes for quality of customer.

? Provide leadership in problem solving, and technical expertise, to ensure timely resolution of short-term equipment issues, and higher-level troubleshooting.

? Provide direction to other technicians, coaches junior engineers, and provides guidance to maintenance personnel.

? Provide general engineering and manufacturing skills and knowledge (understand theories and fundamentals), capable of leading projects and get to root cause of issues, and put permanent solutions in place.

? Implements and documents material, process and/or equipment changes.

? Uses simple statistical tools (Minitab, JMP, or XPC Excel) and Designed Experiments (DOE) in process problem

? Solving and process improvement; Uses more sophisticated statistical tools and DOE techniques in problem solving and process/product improvement.

? Assure quality and repeatability of processes and products.

? Supports new product introductions through equipment installation, process certification, documentation and training.

? Assures safety of operators and equipment and Complies with safety and environmental regulations.

? Develops SME knowledge of material, process and/or equipment in focused areas of manufacturing or engineering.

? Executes cost reduction and improvement (DMAIC) projects in line with business

Education & Experience:

- BS or Higher; Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Material Engineering related Required Skills & Experience:

? 3+ years of engineering experience in glass finishing field(cover glass or touch panel)

? Familiar with CNC, Polish, IOX, Inking, etc.. process

? Good English, CET-6

? Basic statistics and reporting capability

? Proficient in use of statistical data analysis and DOE in process problem solving and process/product improvement.

? Glass finishing management and leadership skill

? Significant experience communicating effectively with internal and external customers

? Lean Fundamentals

? Track record of delivering results

? Broad manufacturing and engineering experiences

? Project leadership (scope to implementation)

? Exposure to contract manufacturing

? Green Belt certification

? Project and/or manufacturing financial management knowledge

? Knowledge of Innovation Stage-gate processes

Optional Skills & Experience:

? Project experience with outside vendor management is a plus

? A leader in process control/discipline, SPC, SQC, OEE and other Performance Excellence processes (Green and Black-belt skills).is a plus ?
