Role & Responsibilities

• Apply system-analyst techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software or systems functional specification

• Program the computer by encoding project requirements in computer language in particular with MVC 5.0 in Microsoft. NET environment

• Produce technical documentation for new and existing functionality from various applications

• As second and third level support in software & system troubleshooting.

• Assist and liaise with user and client for User Acceptance Test and deployment

• Research, evaluate and recommend solutions and appropriate technology to meet user's needs

  
  

  Skills and Competenci
  

• Higher Diploma holder or above in Computing, information technology or other related disciplines

• Minimum 3+ years of technology experience on programming

• Technical experience with application development in particular with Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP, DevExpress, MS SQL Server & Qilkview

• Proficient in writing fine-tuned SQL queries, stored procedures (eg. PL/SQL code) and working with data in relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL etc

• Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

• Ability to work independently and flexible in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities

• Having experience working in an International Transport and Logistics Company would be an advantage

• Experience in EDI integration on various EDI message format (XML, ANSI, X12, EDIFACT) is a plus

• Database design/administration experience (Design, implementation, modification) is a plus
