JOB FUNCTION: China Talent Acquisition Function

This position is a team member of the Talent Acquisition function in China and reports directly to AP TA Manager. The incumbent will need to identify, assess talent acquisition needs, develop and execute a recruiting plan that includes building an effective sourcing strategy, talent assessment and talent acquisition approaches for critical levels of talent while effectively setting priorities and managing client expectations. This position will be located in Shanghai, China.

Core Responsibilities:

·       Acting as in-house recruiting engine to be very good at internal and external recruitment for critical roles;

·       Ensures the coordination of all recruitment related activities for staff. 

·       Providing with related market intelligence, consult, challenge, and align with hiring manager and HRBP on the selection criteria/approach/schedule to work out a clear job specification through effective recruiting strategy  kick-off meeting;

·       Follow & implement the defined hiring process: Taleo recruitment & E-chop system,  screen resumes, interview & assessment, make offer proposal to fulfill the vacancy in times as required by hiring manager;

·       Proactively source and build up high-potential talents pipeline with developing a good relationship & connection with them;

·       Work with the team to establish the PPG employer branding & image to candidates and "sell" candidates on the employer value proposition appropriately;

·       Works independently in the context of broadly defined procedures. Typically requires an in-depth knowledge of the organization, interviewing skills, and recruitment techniques.

·       Support other assigned talent acquisition projects.

 Experience:

• Experienced HR recruitment role with 1-2 years of relevant experience, with Bachelor Degree

·       Efficient direct sourcing & research skill (e.g. mining from LinkedIn, Job boards,  Industry Networking, talent data pool)

·       Talent acquisition analytics

·       Communications and influencing skills
