1. Facilitate all the VA/VE project to achieve the cost savings projects (product design change, material

substitution, localization or manufacture process) and/or improve product quality.

2. Take initiatives to build up VA/VE project pipelines, through leading workshops, collect and identify new VAVE

opportunities or any other activities like VA/VE analysis.

3. Work as a critical role to review the VA/VE proposal that the project team submitted.

4. To understand and interpret CMT/customer product drawing and specification requirements, train to

suppliers and team member when needed.

5. Together with NPD engineering, to define the VAVE related component, product qualification plan

6. Collaborate with cross-functional team and follow up qualification process. (Product quality feasibility analysis

and validation, FAI, etc.)

7. Own the project through planning, development, evaluation, and implementation processes.

reports, Etc.), stored in E-Management database once been categorized.

9. Work together with sourcing and purchasing for the latest price/quotation for updated/proposed component

design or from new suppliers

10. Confirm the unit saving with F&A for all VAVE projects, and calculate the VAVE project payback

经验及学历要求Experience/Education Required:

1. At least 3 years of working experience, Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical,

Manufacturing), Engineering background in medical industry is preferred.

3年以上工作经验，工程学士学位（机械、电气、制造业）, 有医疗行业工程背景者优先。

2. Owned strong knowledge of cable assembly/connector design, materials and related manufacturing

processes

3. Possess high level of understanding of engineering concepts and practices, incl. GD&T.

4. Must have certain project management skills and ability to communicate with suppliers.
