1.Should have good sql and data modeling skill

    

2.Should have knowledge of Unix scripting and command

    

3. Should have knowledge on Control M (or similar scheduling tool)

    

4.Should have good knowledge about Hadoop architecture and performance tuning in Hadoop

    

5.Experience with ETL technologies such as Pentaho (or similar ETL tool)

    

6.Sound knowledge on Hive (Big data), good knowledge of HDP, optimization, performance analysis,

    

data structures (Parquet vs Orc vs CSV ...), LLAP, partitioning, bucketing

    

7.Should have worked in Agile & DevOps principles

    

8.Nice to have knowledge on the any cloud implementation (preferably GCP)

    

9.Experience with Scripting languages power shell, java script

    

10.Excellent problem solving skills

    

11.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    

12. Good reasoning and analytical Skills

    

In essence we are looking for people with skills in the following areas:

       

• Core: Unix, SQL, Hive, Hortonworks, Pentaho (or similar ETL tool), Control-M (or similar scheduling tool)
• Desirable: GCP Data Tools, Financial Domain experience, OLAP technologies, Spark Scala, Java, Python, Agile
