Main Duties

●       Develop, maintain and support multiple projects to meet deadlines

●       Liaise with suppliers and outsourced developers for specific ICT projects

●       Collaborate with all users, including but not limited to: senior managers, teachers, admin staff and support staff in order to improve and develop school IT systems

●       Provide training and user manuals for new systems and educational hardwires which can be easily accessed and understood by all users

●       Ensure all deliverables for projects are completed on time, within quality standards and budget

●       Work closely with the Head of ICT Services and academic team to help design solutions to meet current and future school needs

●       Implement, maintain and enhance the school website and existing web-based applications such as school MIS, seesaw, data tracking applications and other school systems

●       Keep up to date with internal and external development technologies and methodologies

●       Attend and contribute to team meetings as required

●       Troubleshoot development and production problems across a variety of environments and operating platforms

●       Document development tasks, including specific changes, for use in project reports and technical documentation

●       Promote Innovation in educational technology.

 

Other Responsibilities

●       Follow all agreed school policy and procedures as shared and in the staff handbooks

●       Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the Head of Department, Head of Faculty or members of the Senior Leadership Team and any duties that the Head Master deems necessary for the effective operation of the School

  Requirements

●       Bachelor’s degree related to computer science (or a related field)

●       IT experience in supporting business/school applications

●       Proficient and experienced in Database System and MS SQL, ERP, School MIS

●       Have experience of managing relationships with third-party suppliers

●       Ability to learn new technology quickly to keep updated with new school initiatives

●       Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

●       Flexible attitude and able to work under pressure

●       Good command of English
