PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:

Support Director Manufacturing or Sr. Manager to take accountability for quality, production, manufacturing efficiency, SEA targets and E2E supply chain management of the designated factories/areas to ensure adidas products are consistently produced/delivered by meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

* Development

Support product creation/development for the designated categories through proactively providing suggestion or comments in term of quality, efficiency, safety and availability.

* Production

?    Lead the teams of the designated factories/areas in managing the production process, quality, capacity liability, production planning, Manufacturing Excellence, SEA, Security, E2E supply chain and adidas standards implementation.

?    Make day to day impactful decisions in terms of the defined production, quality, availability and ME in the designated factories/areas.

?    Influence and monitor the execution of the tactical and operational direction for production and related E2E supply chain (T1/T2 /T3) . 

?    Manage tactical and operational relationship with the factory production middle level management, influence quality cultures and mindsets through process streamlining using CI techniques and quality tool in the designated factories/areas. 

?    Works directly with the Factory production manager in term of factory production personnel skills evaluation in the designated factories/areas and through Director Manufacturing or Sr. Manager provide facts/business cases to get the Factory to invest into various productions manufacturing machineries. 

?    With support from Director Manufacturing or Sr. Manager, ensure best practices, cohesive messages, projects are shared or implemented consistently in the designated factories/areas and supply chain in the area of quality, production and ME. 

?    Act as LO Shoes Master responsible for coaching, training/teaching and continuously upgrading technical, shoes manufacturing expertise and decision-making capability of the Production personnel of the designated factories/areas.

 

Key Relationships:  

?    Footwear Product Creation/Quality/Manufacturing Excellence/Material/Planning teams

?    Other GOPS functions (Brand Operations, Costing, Materials, Sustainability, SEA, etc…)

?    T1 Factory Production/QIP/ME teams

?    Subcons (T3) and T2 material suppliers

?    3rd party / external auditing firms (Quality, Lab, SEA, Sustainability, Security, etc…) 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

?    At least 3 years experience in footwear production.

?    Experience in footwear development and commercialization.

?    Fluent in English, written and verbal, BULATS level 3 or equivalent.

?    MS Office skills

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:   

?    Diploma or degree from educational entity focusing on shoemaking or engineering.
