Work within a technical team to develop and deploy state of the art measurement and process control engineering solutions (both hardware and software) in support of early stage, pilot and high-volume manufacturing for cost reduction, process improvement, technology transfers and expansion projects. 

Maintain and advance knowledge in the state-of-the-art application of measurement technologies to the design of equipment, process/product prototyping, and factory automation. 

Project assignment will involve travel to Asia regions such as Taiwan, China, Japan, S. Korea, etc. 

?Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering related discipline ? Prefer candidates with tangible record of success and accomplishments in engineering and/or project management, with focus in mechanical & automation, machine vision, options and controls engineering 

Required 

Owns System integration experiences in mechanical system, and/or machine vision system, and/or automation system. 

? Familiar with image processing software, such as Halcon, open CV and Solid understanding of laser tech and optics

 ? Solid understanding of auto mechanical design

 ? Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE or other) 

? Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements. 

? Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement) 

? Conduct experiments methodically, analyze data and interpret result

 ? Test and evaluate theoretical designs 

? Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems ? Estimate budget and scope of project Desired
