Merchandiser

    

Job description:

    

- Keep daily track on production schedule, frequently feedback of status, make sure orders are shipped on schedule.

    

- Following-up sample request, Master sheet making and schedule control.

    

- Transfer and explain the detailed quality standard and related to vendors to make sure products done in the right way.

    

- Inspection plan check and B.V inspection arrange.

    

- Handling all claims and finds the solutions in time.

    

- Source new potential suppliers and get the best quotes for new developed items.

    

- Working with vendor to solve any existing or potential quality issues.

    

- Check and ensure the shipping documents right as forwarder requested.

    

- Report the status summery for orders and samples to China production manager.

    

- Responsible for daily office administrative things such sample sending, branding materials order handling and shipping arrangement to all vendors.

    

- Other tasks assigned by Dongguan office manager.

    

Requirements:

    

1.     Minimum 2 years merchandiser/sales experience in furniture industry, especially ever worked in a manufacturing site. Good knowledge for solid wood, board type and soft furniture products; with knowledge for reclaimed wood will be priority.

    

2.     Strong knowledge about the furniture products such as making process, cost checking and quality standards like wood features, packing, testing, etc.

    

3.     Have general knowledge of the process of resin, metal and glass products.

    

4.     Very responsible and oriented in action and result.

    

5.     Good attention to details; good communication skills and teamwork spirit.

    

6.     University degree; Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin

    

7.     Skilled in all office software.
