• Provide expertise and manage compliance with product labeling requirements in China markets
• Provide day-to-day support to the business units (BUs) relating to China-specific product labeling requirements (e.g., fiber content, origin, manufacturer/importer identification) for all Coach products, with an added focus in the categories of apparel, textiles and footwear.
• Provide oversight to regional partners, manage critical issues and trade risks and drive issue with resolution relating to China-specific labeling and marking requirements.
• Facilitate with ADC’s label monitoring regarding the testing of materials and finished goods for composition and quality standards with an emphasis on apparel and footwear.
• Work with 3rd parties and advisors to ensure the regulatory requirements in the global repository such as testing and licensing are executed for each destination market.
• Partner with Government Affairs on trade matters and enhance government relationships to help influence policy and help drive Coach’s agenda.
• Advise cross-functional partners on market-specific and product-specific import and regulatory requirements and considerations in order to assist in making strategic decisions on when and when not to commercialize product.
• Ensure that all relevant internal and external partners receive training on current as well as new regulatory, labeling and product safety standards.
• Coordinate the audit testing to ensure with noting non-compliance occurrence in end products, when needed.

The accomplished individual will possess...

• A recognized degree preferably or other related disciplines in Textile & Apparel business
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in regulatory affairs or trade compliance related functions
• Experience in the application of product labeling and testing standards in China-specific
• Product safety, regulatory affairs and testing standards experience a plus
• Computer Skills required – MS Access, Excel, Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
