EMPLOYER: 华轮威尔森（中国）物流有限公司上海分公司

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage cargo operation on PCTC and RoRo vessels as required.
• Liaise with Cargo Operations personnel to ensure services required for efficient and effective cargo operations are sourced and on hand and of acceptable quality.
• Ensure compliance is achieved with respect to WWL processes, policies, procedures and instructions pertaining to cargo handling and quality, and WWL Environmental standards.
• Collaborate with relevant parties to ensure supplier quality and performance is evaluated, identified issues are examined and corrective action is taken to address root causes of problems.
• Collaborate with relevant parties to identify opportunities for better business practice.
• Validate, code and forward invoices for services ordered to Regional Office for processing in a timely fashion.
• Ensure control over WWL equipment is applied in assigned ports.
• Provide local technical advice on operational matters to internal and external customers.
• Develop and manage local relationships with relevant authorities.(i.e. Quarantine, Customs, Port Authorities)
• Support China Ocean Operations business plan/Action list.
• Other tasks as assigned.

COMPETENCES:

• University degree or equivalent study experience;
• Fluent in English both oral and written;
• Good command of MS applications;
• Familiar with cargo handling on RoRo/PCTC vessels;
• Customer orientated attitude;
• Ability to work in a small independent local team while giving support to a regional team;
• Good communicator and the ability to plan, implement and follow up on a wide range of operational issues in a structured way;
• Ability to represent and promote the values of WWL internally as well as externally and the willingness to work across functions supporting the matrix organization and focus on the end result.
• Traveling to other ports is required on some occasions.
