Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do（职位描述）:

• Installation and configuration of SQL Server (2012 & higher versions)

• Creation of new databases for both Prod and non-prod environments

• Database backup and restore processes

• Setup, configure and troubleshoot of database replication

• User and access management (grant and revoke permissions, knowledge of sql server roles)

• MS SQL Server job monitoring and Job schedules management

• Database and Database server retiring processes

• Follow incident management process for issues related to the server and /or databases

• Support existing High availability & DR solutions (Log shipping, Availability groups, Clustered instances).

• Review available free space, Decision making on database shrink or delete old file when needed

• Timely Escalation of issues

Here is some of what you’ll need (required)职位要求:

• One-year experience with Database Technology preferable with MSSQL

• Works with global and multicultural teams

• Administrative skill on any relational database engine, MS SQL 2012 or higher preferred

• Hands on experience on Remote Monitoring of database servers

• Monitors production systems and provides 24x7 support for production related issues.

• Knowledge on MySQL & PostgreSQL is a plus

• Knowledge of database backup & recovery and high availability concepts.

• Exposure to VMWare or Virtual Server/ Virtual PC would be added value

• Education Qualification:4 Year degree desirable, credited Technical Diploma/Degree required

• Very good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

• Well organized, hard worker with strong documentation skills.

• Added value if completed MCSA in SQL 2012 - 2016
