PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:

Manage the implementation of the sustainability roadmap with the internal and external stakeholders with a primary focus on Sustainability Projects of Sustainability Materials and following projects to come.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with Internal and External stakeholders to manage implementation of adidas Sustainability Projects for Footwear T2 suppliers.
• Manage to collaborate with T2 supplier’s management team to build up T2 suppliers’ capability in proceeding adidas Sustainability Projects implementation.
• Support to Senior leadership strategy set up by providing fact analysis.
• Act as Material/Technical experts to advise internal team and suppliers Sustainability Projects target and implementation policy setting.
• Act as FTW manufacturing procedure expert to lead on Sustainability Project workstream development.
• Lead the implementation of Sustainable Material Traceability with T2 suppliers and Internal teams. 
• Engage with T2 and T3 suppliers and internal teams to support the development of Sustainability road map and target of Footwear.
• Support Environment programs implementation in T2 suppliers. 
• Maintain strong network of relationships with T2 and T3 suppliers and industry organization to support adidas Sustainability Projects and Environment Programs implementation.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Strategic thinking and result orientation
• Knowledge of Materials that are related to footwear material manufacturing. 
• Knowledge of Footwear manufacturing.  
• Strong Project Management and organizational skills
• Pro-active approach and thinking outside of the box
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Four-year university degree or MA degree preferably in Business Management or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ work experience in related field.
