Job Function:

Under general supervision, the Regulatory Specialist provides advisory services to clients which may involve local, regional, national or international knowledge of industrial or consumer sectors. The Regulatory Specialist identifies, collects, and interprets science-based reports, data and regulations in order to prepare documents for clients and government agencies, and develops Environment, Health, Safety, and Transportation (EHS&T) information for the control and use of chemicals and electrical/electronics products in the market place.  The Regulatory Specialist utilizes relevant software and can contribute to troubleshooting and enhancement of these software products. May train junior regulatory staff. Interfaces with management to provide consultation on regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Uses regulatory knowledge to provide advisory services to clients and management for efficient EHS&T services.
• Uses relevant software to meet client EHS&T needs. 
• Maintains current knowledge of applicable regulations relevant to specific job duties.
• Maintains credentials and certifications where applicable.
• Collaborates with multi-functional teams to improve and assist with processes and/or testing of software; provides feedback to improve software products where applicable.
• Provides regulatory knowledge to support the Marketing and Sales teams as necessary.
• Performs other duties as directed.
