Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

●       Ensure Project Delivery: Manage integration, interdependencies, and alignment within and across functions for delivery of project. Accountable for the delivery of project outputs and management of schedule, scope, quality, cost, risk & key elements based on project plan.

●       Manage Timeline: Create project schedule and ensure project meet milestones and target time timeframe

●       Manage Scope: Define the scope boundaries and acceptance criteria, stakeholder requirements prioritization and manage expectations.

●       Resolve Issues: Identify and resolve issues, preactively bridge gaps as needed. Work with project sponsors to adjust project baseline as needed.

●       Risk Management: Identify, communicate risks to appropriate stakeholders, develop plan and follow up to mitigate the risks.

●       Quality Delivery: Best effort to ensure project quality to achieve value proposition as planned.

●       Manage Communications: Manage project related communications within and outside of the project. Identify and communicate impacts to cross-functional stakeholders, and provide project updates by project dashboard or status reports. Effective cross-functional partnering.

●       Manage Stakeholders: Identify and establish partnerships with stakeholders to build support, secure sponsorship, and ensure alignment for project outcomes.

Project Management Foundation & Operation Excellence

●       Build standard project management framework (incl. processes, tools & trainings, etc) & best practices that help with improved project management capability & competence for China BU so as to facilitate landing of key intiatives of China BU.

●       Contribute in building more efficient operation system for China BU, and suggest continuous improvements.

Experience requirements

●       2 years of experience in Project/Program management.

●       Experience in working in matrix organization or multinational company.

●       Strong ownership, willingness to learn and explore new things

●       Good interpersonal skills and experience working with both business and technical teams

●       Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and timeline sensitive work environment

●       Be articulate with good presentation and written communication skills.

●       Strong team player with an adaptable and flexible approach.

●       Active thinker for ongoing improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

●       MBA or graduate degree in management, technical, or engineering field.

●       Recognised formal project management qualification (PMP/Prince2 or equivalent) is desirable.

●       Fluency in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written).

●       Experience in the travel or consumer internet Industry is a plus.
