Job Responsibility

1. Provide senior category manager with information to support annual sourcing and budget plans

2. Support senior category manager in sourcing product & suppliers that will ensure annual sales & profit plan is achieved

3. Dependant upon experience manage their own sub ranges as appropriate

4. Work with QA & suppliers towards continual product improvement

5. A commitment to ensure that all sourcesare from known & legal sources and an increasing amount of FSC & recycled products are offered to buying teams as part of our continual improvement in this area

 

6. Keep abreast of market trends, buyer requirements, competitor activity

7. Identify market opportunities

8. Create open & effective relationships with both internal colleagues and suppliers

9. Ensure all new lines are set up accurately and prepared for orders

Job Qualification

1.Bachelor or above, major in international trade, business English or related.

2. 3+ year working experience in buying office or sourcing/merchandise dept.

3. Stationery or house hold related products background.

4.High sense of responsibility, self-motivated.

5.Engaging & influential communication skill.

6.Keen observation, analysis and coordination ability.

7.Honest and strictly complying with professional ethics.

8.Excellent team work and working well under pressure.

9.Familiar with MS-Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

10.Good command of written and oral English.

11.Willing to travel if necessary.
