Buyer responsibilities:

*  Sourcing & evaluate new potential suppliers and establish a relationship;

*  Manage projects from DK office to develop a new range of products to meet different customers' demands in close co-operation with QA/QC team and DK sales department;

*  Negotiate prices and contracts in order to get the best terms and conditions for Unique;

*  Supply risks analysis and manage plan B for back up;

*  Maintain professional relationships with suppliers;

*  Smoothly transfer all necessary info to Merchandiser for 1st batch of new product orders;

*  Support Merchandiser in solving claim issues;

*  Support Merchandiser if have problem on confirming ETD with supplier, or in general get feedback from suppliers.

  

Job requirements:

  

*  One or two years of project management;

*  Furniture experience is preferred, especially in Zhejiang province and Guangdong province;

*  Knowledge of local culture among Zhejiang province furniture factories and Guangdong province is preferred;

*  Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English;

*  Good knowledge of how to cooperate with foreigners;

*  High sense of responsibility and self-driven spirit;

*  Knowledge in metal/upholstery chairs and sofa is advantage.
