The purpose of this function is to establish and maintain on behalf of national product manager(s) a sell price structure for Agility’s core products (Air and Ocean) including its local content (origin-/ destination-charges)

In this position Head of NPC will work closely with local product management, sales management, capacity procurement and local operations to determine and manage national sales and margin strategy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain sell rates in alignment with national/product (margin) strategy, ensure competitive sell prices (door/door basis) are available as required to serve all levels of customer- and industry-segments

• Ensure “buy” and “suggested sell” rates in rate repository system are current, complete and competitive through monitoring, root cause analysis and remedial NPC actions as necessary

• Manage margin policies under national leadership guidance, to ensure market conditions are correctly reflected on an ongoing basis

• Implement and grow usage of NPC functionality in new IT-environment (FOCiS QM/ NPC Threshold Matrix/ NPC Workflow and other related functionalities)

• Stay updated in on market developments in close cooperation with national core product managers/ teams

• Participate in project work if and where required

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 year work experience in LSP environment

• Familiar with price setting in LSP environment

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIERD:

• 5 years’ experience in Global freight forwarding area;
• Be equipped with fluent written and oral English skill;
• Familiar with price setting and ocean market;
• Good relationship with carriers;
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills;
• Self-motivated, organized and focused
• Advanced computer literacy: good PC skills, and capability to use internal tools
