Role Summary

IT Data Service SME will focus on Unilever Business data service platform, responsible for data service platform build, management, operation, security and data governance, will worked closed with business team, global data team and local data suppliers, to support Unilever China DaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist to build and manage the UL China data service platform, include set up data and service policies and standards, build enterprise level data catalog and data service interfaces, and estimate data quality and governance processes.

· Communicating with global SAP, UDL and other data platform, make global data model consistent with china data platform, and be responsible for monitor for monitoring daily operation.

· Assist china business team to build unified, standard, robust business data model, store in cloud data lake, supports the use of data in analysis/BI/AI, and ensures that the business team and suppliers follow the data service SOP.

· Responsible for managing the data project vendors, make sure all data projects comply with IT standards, evaluating technical architecture and workload, and monitoring project development and delivery.

· Responsible for data service platform daily operation, monitor data service usage, cloud resources usage, and data service quality, issue tracking and fixing, etc.

Qualifications and Experience

· BS Degree in Computer Sciences or similar, 3+ years of relevant professional experience in the data area.

· Experienced in the enterprise-level Data model, (e.g. like Star schema, snowflake schema, Data Vault2.0, Dimension and Fact Table, Cube and so on), Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Data Service platform.

· Family with popular big data related technology and production such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Kafka, etc.

· Familiar with popular cloud platform, especially in AWS cloud and related services, such as EMR, Redshift, Glue, API Gateway, etc.

· Experienced in data visualization solution, familiar with Power BI is plus.

· Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities.

· Strong communication in English and Mandarin.
