RESPONSIBILITIES

    

    

l Conduct research and development in the field of oils and fats with relevant contribution to the Group business.

    

l Evaluate new materials for new products development of oils and fats products.

    

l Liaise with Government officials for any new regulations proposal or in case of any quality crisis.

    

l Provide support regarding manufacturing process to TP Oils Plant.

    

l Support Purchasing to liaise with all suppliers regarding products specifications and regulations.

    

l Suggest materials and methods for testing new products as well as conduct in-coming QC.

    

l Conduct in-coming QC as well as application test of overseas fats and margarines products .

    

l Support Marketing teams to evaluate competitors’ products.

    

l Support Purchasing team to source for new supplies to reduce cost .

    

l Train and supervise Lab staff to carry out Laboratory routines .

    

l Provide updated Technical information and regulations to all related teams

    

l Provide trainings to Sales teams and support them to handle technical services.

    

l Support the Customers Services Hotlines to handle some tricky complaints.

    

    

    

REQUIREMENTS

    

    

l Degree holder in Chemistry or Food Science with analytical chemistry.

    

l Over 10 years relevant working experience in technical operation field, food manufacturing industries (as QA and /or R&D) in which at least 5 years in senior supervisory positions, experience in Refinery and/or oils / fats plant will be an advantage.

    

l Working experience with PRC food manufacturers will be essential .

    

l With customer service experience preferred.

    

l Knowledge of HACCP & ISO systems and certifications are required.
