BASIC FUNCTION:

Oversees technical aspects of slipper development and commercialization of CPG, including adjustment of patterns on prototypes, bottom development, fit testing approvals, and commercialization of approved styles.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assists developers in reviewing designs to ensure manufacturability. Suggests revisions for ease of production and quality assurance.

2. Oversees development of new bottoms per design requirements and drop-in (last bottom) and confirms full sets of production molds.

3. Manages commercialization of newly adopted styles.

4. Establish and maintain commercialization timelines.

5. Conducts fit testing on sample and extreme size prototypes.

6. Ensures proper pattern and mold grading of all sizes.

7. Works with development team, QA/QC team and factories to solve technical problems.

8. Assists in establishing and maintaining quality standards in RGB quality manual, including commercialization process guide.

9. Works with development team and production planning team to ensure new styles are fully confirmed in time to meet required first delivery dates.

10. Works with QC team to monitor pre-production runs for big volume styles like Walmart, Target & Costco.

SKILLS

1. Requires high school education and 7 years of experience in a similar role.

2. Requires strong communication/listening skills.

3. Attention to detail is a must.

4. Excellent time management and organization skills are needed.

5. Requires bi-lingual Chinese/English communication skills. Must also be able to read and write in English.

6. Ability to develop necessary skills to utilize current development programs and systems is required.

7. Must be able to work effectively in a team-based environment.
