Job Responsibilities

• Understand commercial and inventory drivers within the global supply chain operations and develop business case for network improvement

• Lead the research and develop and proof of concept for innovation concepts, then passes to operations to integrate into the business

• Disrupts and re-engineers across the end-to-end supply chain to create value for our customers, works with dedicated external resources from 3PL, carrier, production vendors and software providers to drive the innovation thinking and concepts

• Solve operational problems by using data, external benchmarking and technology

• Bringing to life the future needs of our origin supply chain operations (production and logistics) for all brands

• Be the leader in digital development within supply chain using big data analytics, data visualization, software developments to drive innovation with the supply chain

• Act as knowledge centre for best practice technology usage within the supply chain

• Improved connectivity and working cross functionally with merchandising, quality, inventory, IT, Finance, Domestics and Origin supply chain teams

• Responsible for innovation engagement with internal functions across the supply chain

  Job requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Supply Chain Management or relevant disciplines

• Minimum 8 years'of relevant supply chain management experience (forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics) with minimum 3 years in process re-engineering / lean implementation

• Preferably with Cloud certification preferred, (e.g. AWS)

• Well knowledge on Kaizen and Lean methodologies

• Strong ability to translate business and category requirements into technical / solution deliverables

• Knowledge on digital development within supply chain, good insights in & affinity with technology as a driver for innovation

• Demonstrated superior results in driving a low-cost operation with accuracy and precision in data reporting

• Strong analytical skill to use data to solve large-scale ambiguous problem

• Able to manage multiple tasks effectively with strong project management skills

• Quick starter, identify the quick-win and start-up in an agile way

• Good communication & interpersonal skills and able to work independently

The apparel and footwear divisions source all areas of ***'s, women's and children's apparel, footwear and accessories whilst the general merchandise divisions include toys, electrical, homewares, sporting goods, furniture, stationary, to name just a few.
