PURPOSE OF ROLE: This position reports to CFO. The post holder is based in Shanghai and is an essential member of the CIFGC Finance Leadership Team with responsibility for the performance management and reporting for CIFGC, this includes delivery of the FQ, Budget, actual performance management, strategy development, and other ad-hoc performance analysis requirements

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITY

1. Responsible to organise the annual budget exercise and ensure the delivery of the business plan is in line with the CIFGC expectations

2. Responsible for the deliveries of monthly analysis reporting and any deviations from budget, FQ and other comparisons are accounted for

3. Responsible to develop project plans and lead/provide guidance in any projects to meet the measurement, control and reporting requirements for the business and the PPM function

4. To assist in business investment evaluation, e.g. capex investment

5. Accountable to provide solution on complex issues arises particularly from the financial concerns on operations

6. Responsible to provide efficiency / effectiveness improvements at country level

7. Manages a small team of professionals or support staff and responsible for their staff learning and development

8. Responsible to the resource planning for own area of responsibility

9. Responsible to develop the annual team budget in coherent with the overall functional budget

REQUIREMENTS

1. Qualified Accountant (or equivalent) with at least 10 years’ experience in the PPM function gained in an operating business unit.

2. A proven ability to meet key deadlines with minimum supervision

3. Well-developed network, influential and interpersonal skills to gain support, gather and distribute information

4. Ability to coach, challenge, and influence by effectively interfacing with staff from all disciplines

5. Knowledge of internal controls and process improvement experience are added advantages

6. High Proficiency in English

7. Internationally Qualified accounting (or equivalent)

8. Management Information and Reporting: A sound financial knowledge and ability to translate business objectives into top line & bottom line expectations including measuring the quality of the outcome.

9. Business Planning: Highly numeric and analytical, able to see the entire business operation in its logical component parts, and objectively challenge the cost/benefit relativity of each
