PRIMARY FUNCTION

Check and approve dielines based on Target Dieline Requirements. Leads project management in the region for all packaging associated workflow, from concept to execution, of all Target packaging needs. Polices and implements stringent adherence to Target Packaging Operations process. Provides instructions and training of all requirements to business partners.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Check and approve dielines on a timely basis based on Target Dieline Requirements.

- Communicates all requirements to both internal and external partners. Seek proactive/collaborative solutions, record and acknowledge feedbacks and share with overseas packaging and HQ partners.

- Participate in cross-functional team meetings to drive effective packaging execution and maximize the influence of packaging on the guest’s purchase decision.

- Participate in sample review meetings with vendors to identify potential issues on packaging execution, with guidance when needed.

- Responsible for international production of Target Brand packaging to meet and exceed Target structural standards and specifications.

- Partners with Target Packaging Engineers to provide structural and graphical research, costing transit, and various projects when needed.

- Manage internal tools for process enhancement when needed

- Track and elevate vendor / certified supplier performance. Monitor any high level 3rd party performance issues and report relevant data to the US team.

- Partner with all parties for problem-solving

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- 4-year University degree with strong academic performance

- 2 years packaging production experience

- Knowledge of packaging, engineering and packaging mechanics

- Excellent communication skills in English and local office language

- Strong computer skills

- Strong interpersonal and multi-lingual communication skills

- Excellent team player in project management and all daily activities

- Ability to work proactively and independently

- Ability to drive change and move with demands

- Ability to manage multiple projects in fast paced environment
