 What We Do (Accountabilities)

• Responsible for document management system

• Support the design/development of quality assurance procedures, processes and standards

• Prepare and assist the quality assurance systems, including the development of SOPs, quality checklists, etc.

• Provide training and/or technical assistance on quality/process improvements 

• Write management and technical reports

• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues

• Monitor performance

• Oversee Mold Prevention performance

• Oversee 5 Star Process

• Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions

• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality analysis

• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system

• Plan and monitor project/initiatives schedule to achieve outputs

• Perform other related duties as assigned 

    

Essential Functions of the Role

• Bachelor in production engineering

• Must have solid 5+ year’s QA level experience in Footwear or related industries (branded experience preferred)

• Graduated from a Footwear Technical School

• Suitable to travel to any Caleres facilities/offices (Asia, Africa, American continent)

• Strong computer skills : Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Strong communication skills (spoken and written)

• Hardworking, self-initiated and good team player

• Ability to train

• Local language is preferred, good English skills is a must
