Technical PM

 

Desired experience

At least 3 years of project management experience, with Technical support / Laptop Repair center / Consumer electronics product Manufacturing background.

Knowledge/background in software industry products/services/applications, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft's products/services/applications is preferred.

Must possess strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills; ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues.

The ideal candidate will have high-powered analytical skills and the ability to understand concepts and situations that pass by many others.

Must have excellent communication skills, experience working with external vendors, strong project management skills, and demonstrated success in adult learning and training principles/skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

 

Focus Areas:

1.       Onboard Authorized Service Partners (ASPs) to the MS ASP program working with teams located primarily in Redmond and China

2.       Track issues during onboarding and work towards resolution

3.       Own stakeholder calls with MS and partners to ensure post-launch success

4.       Identify process improvement opportunities and escalate to appropriate team members

4. Ability to articulate complex ideas in simple terms

6. Strong Microsoft Office proficiency; PowerPoint, Visio considered an asset

7. Must be able to work independently and manage daily rhythms.
