Designs printed circuit boards to meet customer specifications - from schematic netlist to production of manufacturing data, typically ranging from 6-30 layer count including BGA and uBGA packages.  Participates as needed, in product design including board design, schematic reviews, DFx reviews, High-speed layout guidelines, validation and introduction to manufacturing. The candidate must also be very comfortable working with designers at other sites and time zones.

• Need to implement electrical engineering constraints with guidance from a senior designer to determine the best strategy for layout implementation
• Works with development, process and test engineers to design printed circuit boards to meet customer specifications.
• Provides guidance in the generation and application of the company’s design guide.
• Estimates time needed for design projects.
• Maintains design integrity through updates and records of changes.
• Assists other designers to troubleshoot and solve CAD software problems.
• Provides technical design assistance to junior team members.
• Directs workload appropriately. Meets with team leaders, clients and designers to develop and improve designs and processes.
• Provide regular (weekly) updates on projects/progress to leader/manager.

Requirement

• College or Bachelor degree with electronics and related industry

• Good oral and written communication skills in English preferred

• Self-motivated, capable of completing assignments under the pressure of urgent schedule and high design requirements.

• Can accept shift work and be willing to travel if needed.

• Familiar with Cadence Allegro 16.x&17.x and Valor is preferred.

• Understand PCB&PCBA manufactory process is preferred
