Job Description
- Responsible for the Lab Testing Services through-out China (also other operating countries in future based on business need)
- Strategic Planning: staffing, appraisals, promotions, training, sales forecasting, gross margin results
- Lab Test Process & Procedures: Create Lab Testing Services Process & Procedures, Forms, Standard Documents & Reports
- Must be capable of learning & understanding Impactiva’s working processes and procedures
- Ensure that all of his/her Team Members are precisely following Impactiva’s Lab Testing P&P
- Teach-Coach-Mentor all Team Members on implementing the Systems at Customer (Supplier) sites successfully, achieving the targeted results and maintaining consistency
- Quality: define the BU Quality Key Performance Indicators
- Results: ensure pre-defined Key Performance Indicators (of both individual customer accounts & Business Unit) are achieved
- Sales: Support sales team by doing farming activities with the existing Customers and work closely with both sales & his/her internal team to achieve Customer’s highest satisfactory level on Impactiva’s performance
- Responsible for maintaining good working relations with all Customers / Suppliers and fellow Team Members
- Participate in

?Leadership training courses
- Expected to suggest ways on how to broaden the depth/breadth of Impactiva’s service offering
Experience
- Minimum 15 years overall experience in cut & sew products (including footwear, apparel, leather goods, outdoor gear, leather, fabrics, upholstery, etc.,) - chemical and physical laboratory testing services at major multi-national laboratories
- Minimum of 7 years experience as Business Unit Leader or Profit Center Head on independently heading-up end-to-end testing services for various customer accounts with proven business results
- Experience in managing/leading/coaching a team of technical customer service leaders, executives & technical engineers on lab testing services-systems to achieve the pre-defined KPIs
- Experience in designing/maintaining a system by which the testing service is executed, measured and controlled successfully
Skills
- Very good written and spoken English
- Fluency in Mandarin a must
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent computer skills: e-mail, word, excel
Education
- Bachelors or Masters in Science and or Engineering
Traits
- Honesty and ethics beyond question
- Self-motivated and ability to be self-led as will mostly work without supervision
- Self-confidence to work
- Flexible to accommodate extensive travel within China (short & long term as per the business needs)
Self-confidence to convince the top management (customer/supplier) about the effectiveness of lab testing services
