职位描述
Responsible for the strategic source and acquisition of Global HR Services. Work closely with HR Staffing & Production teams to ensure technology and supply are consistent. Candidate will have direct responsibility for participating and leading competitive analysis to identify best in class services. This position is responsible to ensure that each HR sourcing project and/or contract is managed according to Seagate policies and procedures, the current audit policies, and to the highest ethical standards. The candidate for this position will be able to manage strategic relationships with suppliers, set strategic plans, perform cost analysis, negotiate cost, contracts, agreements and allocations for HR commodity to achieve lowest cost of acquisition and assure supply continuity. Apply expertise as a generalist / specialist and to apply supply management processes to diverse projects and situations. This may include identifying opportunities for improvement, performing evaluations, investigating and benchmarking best practices, and presenting ideas for change to other team members and senior management. Be comfortable working with all levels of management including Directors, Vice Presidents, and Executive Management on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will be able to:
Work with minimal supervision and direction. Demonstrate excellent project and task management skills, problem solving abilities, and have the ability to multitask.
Manage supplier relationships on a strategic level to meet or beat key stakeholder requirements. Directly handle and resolve conflicts that occur between Seagate and Strategic Suppliers. Assess supply base and contractual risk and develop risk mitigation plans.
Negotiate and implement various contract forms, such as: Independent Contractor, Service Performance, Statement of Works, Volume Purchasing, Non-disclosure and various other agreements as applicable.
Attains and keeps current technical and commercial understanding of HR services purchased as well as other market conditions.
Evaluates suppliers' production capacity and ability to meet commitments as well as respond to upside demand.
Align strategic requirements with qualified supply base through supplier analysis (financial, process, quality, service, capability, lead time).
Develop and present Supplier business reviews to supplier and Seagate management. Continously monitor supplier performance and be prepared to evaluate supplier performance as required.
Lead/Facilitate multicultural core teams including members from: HR Staffing, Purchasing, Production and other stakeholders.
Understand cultural diversity in order to work directly with team members throughout Asia, North America and Europe to communicate and implement key strategic initiatives, policies and procedures.
Meet cost saving goals through strategic negotiation techniques. Have the ability to think outside the box, and capture opportunities that exist using ethical purchasing and supply management practices.
Develop and build relationships with key HR Staffing & Production stakeholders. Ensure key stakeholder requirements are in sync with strategic supply base plan. Evolve the supply base to meet future needs of Seagate and the major stakeholders.
Lead supplier selection and evaluations to ensure that only the highest quality suppliers are added to the Approved Supplier Listing.
Evaluate and control the Approved Supplier List for the HR area and ensure that all suppliers are pre-qualified and matched to the projects under consideration.
