Job summary

- The primary function of the Compliance QA Analyst is responsible for the implementation and management of the Products’ QA Program, including technical support and assessment of products’ safety and relative international compliance standards.

- Responsible for assuring that the product’s risk assessment meets or exceeds all confirmed safety issues.

- Responsible for oversight on Products’ on-going lab test program.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

- Ensure all products’ design, packaging, material and components meets or exceeds the international safety standards.

- Ability to document, monitor, and track on-going test samples, test report and risk assessments. Making sure they stay within required timelines and schedule.

- Monitor and review daily test report validity and approve document format.

- Review and confirm the on-going test status at each factory by verifying the test item, test number, test report, etc… These tests are performed by factory selected third parties and the validity will need to be confirmed on these test procedures.

- Assist and work with QA manager for daily responsibilities and job arrangement.

- Assist the compliance manager with all testing, technical support and other related compliance functions for Jazwares’ product to comply with the global standard and customer requirements;

- Products’ technical support via documentation, eg: DOC, GCC, CPC, MSDS, BOM review and preparation.

- Review all test reports and manage the test program with our compliance managers and compliance coordinators.

Minimum requirements

- Proficient & Strong knowledge of the toy or musical instrument industry’s’ international safety standards including CPSIA, ASTM, EN, Canada, AU…;

- At least of 2-3 years working experience at a certified/recognized 3rd party laboratory, with technical experience in both physical and chemical fields;

- Self-motivated, responsible, independent, hardworking, and willing to work under pressure;

- Good written English (spoken and listening is preferred);

- Experience with musical instrument is preferred.
