Summary / Objective
Under direct management from the Regional Leadership and under broad guidance and direction from Corporate Information Systems, the Region Director of Information Systems manages the regional IS Department to ensure the development and/or implementation of cost-effective systems and efficient computer system operations to meet current and future business processes as well as decision making requirements.
Responsibility
Assists the Regional Management Group in developing long term information goals and requirements for both the Regional as well as the Corporate Information Systems departments.
Identify current and future system needs and provide solutions in line with the strategic road map, select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations. Manages the programs in an efficient and cost-effective manner
Directs the planning, design, development, integration and operations of all regional I.S. functions and responsibilities.
Provides technical support to the Regional Leadership / Departmental managers
Makes recommendations and provides technical support to Sr. Management to perform needs assessment and define the long range vision for IS.
Maintains ongoing communication with user departments to resolve problems with existing and/or new systems and understand any potential needs.
Purchases and provides for maintenance of all computer related equipment including personal computers and telephone hardware; ensures that all new purchases are compatible with the approved I.S. Department long term strategy.
Coordinates and directs the configuration, implementation and operation of other related systems which are integral with the I.S. departments function.
Administers the department's expense budget, within budgetary guidelines to contribute to cost-effective operation of the company.
Hires, trains, supervises, evaluates and disciplines support staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with degree in Computer Science, Business or other closely related field. Oversea education background or experience preferred.
at least Five (5) years of closely related IS experience specifically ERP & CRM systems, master of Oracle JDE.
Maintains an in-depth knowledge of the full scope of information processing, telecommunications, telephone, Geographic Information Systems and related technologies. Solid understanding of Infrastructure, Application, Information Security and Cloud.
Experienced in driving digital transformation. Familiar with ERP, MES etc.
Excellent stake holder management and is a strong team player.
Strong management skills with ability to motivate and stimulate.
Hand-on to deliver result and life-long learning.
