1. To support Product Developers with hardware and accessory costings and negotiations, by liaising directly with suppliers and cost engineering product to fit customer requirements and commercial parameters.
2. Actively contribute to the product development process by providing prices and negotiating costs to ensure the best value for money, reliability, and quality.
3. Deal with other factors such as sustainability, risk management and ethical issues.
4. Help the business save money, minimize waste, and increase profits.
5. Maintain knowledge of current trends and consumer needsSupport Sourcing Team in achieving strategy for Flamingo Far East, working towards increasing direct hardware sourcing for the Group, saving on agent fees, and increasing end-to-end margin.
6. Global hardware sourcing activities and targeted negotiating
7. Analyse NPD new product requirements, assess quotations, calculate delivered prices & create clear offers with conditions/risks and communicated to internal teams.

Requirements

1. Showing industry-specific sourcing experience with strong UK market knowledge
2. Negotiation experience in global procurement
3. A deep understanding of factory operations and processes, with material and finish knowledge
4. Excellent verbal & written communication, networking, and consulting skills
5. Strong math skills are essential
6. Computer competencies
