Purpose of Job: 

The main purpose of this position is to provide PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

project leadership for New Product Development and the maintenance of existing products in the category. This position will lead new product design and execution by working together with headquarter PD team, suppliers, and external resources while the maintaining schedules, ensures that products meet the design goals to meet the perceived need of the consumer, resolve supplier technical issues and assist to improve supplier manufacturing process.

Job Scope & Major Responsibilities:

1. Works with headquarter project teams to understand and communicate project scope and evaluate design and resource requirements.

2. Be responsible for the product form, structure and function. Working out Specification, Drawing, BoM for NPD projects as required by category expectations.

3. New project feasibility study, validate initial designs via analysis, prototyping and testing to increase efficiency of our development process;

4. Be responsible for maintaining project schedule. Provides project updates and status reports to the Headquarter product development teams in addition to coordinating with suppliers. 

5. Product Safety, Standards and Reliability - Ensures that products have been tested and evaluated for reliability, and that they meet applicable regulations, codes and standards.

6. Significantly contributes to the determination of manufacturing design requirements by evaluating the supplier’s capability and resources as they relate to the intent of the product design and quality. 

7. Follow up Engineering Change processes.

8. Assist Quality Assurance and Reliability Engineering by helping to indentify and communicate critical to quality requirements and reviewing manufacturing control processes.

9. Effectively and appropriately communicate with all levels of the organization and supplier and make sure assigned tasks are finished as request.

10. Other assignment 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIRED

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in PPE product design and development;

2. Experience in the development of Disposable Mask, Respirator, Hand Sanitizer, IR Thermometer, Gloves, Protective Clothing, Protective Shield, Protective Glasses etc. and understand related protocols and standards;

3. Advance knowledge and experience using SolidWorks to modeling and review mechanical drawing

4. Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and performing statistical tolerance analysis;

5. Self-motivated, Good communications & interpersonal skill, Analytical minded; Good team player;

6. Good command of both spoken and written English;
