Responsibilities:

• Enforce Quality consistency by driving good PP meeting and In-line inspection practice.

• Implement international quality standards through training and development of local Supplier and factories.

• Drive early Quality problem prevention using Industrial Engineering principles and standard.

• Prevent final inspection failures by conducting robust in line prevention measures.

• Support the Development and Production of top-quality products in line with the company strategy and contracted expectations.

• Ensure international standards for product safety, quality and conformity of all products are consistently shipped from local suppliers.

• Apply best industry practice thinking and cross share and fertilise new concepts to improve quality standards of Kmart products.

• Follow the CAPA and ensure product quality improved in production.

• Conduct final inspection basing on international inspection standard.

• Follow KAS values strictly and Ensure our vendors follow KAS values strictly as well.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background

• 8 years or above relevant working experience and inspection background in Hard-line. Be an expert in certain category, such as Electrical and Electronic, Furniture, toys, home decoration, sports, kitchen ware, X’mas and/or related quality control field.

• Experience of how to use technical engineering and quality skills to prevent Quality problems Improvement at the very start of production.

• Experience with Australia & International safety standard of hard-line and EE products

• Good understanding of quality requirements for the products handled and AQL inspection system.

• Good capability for defect and negative finding judgement.

• Proficient in English reading and writing, good oral English is preferred.

• Have a good communication skill with Merchandiser team, QA team, office Coordinator, Vendor and factory key person.

• Proactive attitude and open mind character, willing to learn.
