Rational leads with many revolutionary innovations in the field of software and system delivery. Building on top of the successful creation of the innovative Eclipse Platform that is being used by millions of developers around the world, Rational invented the Jazz Platform that is the foundation of the next generations of software and system delivery platforms that supports Collaborative Lifecycle Management ( CLM ). Rational software helps companies including IBM itself deliver greater value from their investments in software and systems. It enables organizations to seize business opportunities, achieve precision in desired business outcomes, and execution with reduced risk and cost. In the new wave of innovation around smarter products, software is everywhere and Rational is the platform to build the smarter software and systems that are the building blocks of a smarter planet.
CDL Rational has teams in Beijing and Shanghai, and from year 2012, it expanded to Ningbo site. We are looking for an experienced manager to build and lead the team in Ningbo, covering various Rational products, including Rational ClearQuest, Rational Asset Manager.
The job responsibilities include:
- Ramp up and lead Rational Ningbo team
- Build high performance development/test team, drive the mission growth in Ningbo
- Collaborate closely among global development teams
- Encourage innovation and lead changes for improving efficiency of dev/test process and product quality
Skill Requirement
- Rich experience in software development, familiar with IBM development processes (Agile and Scrum processes are preferable) and quality criteria
- Experience on Rational tools is plus, like CC/CQ, Jazz, Rational testing tools
- Hands-on experience in leading/managing teams
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and collaboration skills
- Skills of managing multi-disciplinary teams and organizational planning
- Strategic thinking, pro-active and systematic problem solving, self-motivated
- Skills of listening all kinds of feedback and inspiring people
- Proactive, innovative and good leadership
Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)
- Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or equivalent
- More than 5 years of experience in leading/managing development/test teams/projects
