职位描述
Job Description:
1.Manage commodities involving metal parts (turning, stamping, screws), plastic raw materials, passive components etc.
2.Manage supplier performance based on quality, delivery and cost through regular supplier business reviews.
3.Manage supplier contract negotiations and pricing.
4.Develop a competent base of suppliers that guarantee a continuous supply of quality parts at competitive total cost.
5.Interface with internal engineering & product team and potential suppliers regarding technical aspects of the products as well as validation and approval processes.
6.Analyses historical purchasing data and trends and identifies prospective materials and services for PO or call-off agreements.
7.Monitor and review the purchasing process of strategic sourcing from MR through RFQ, tender documents, quotation evaluation, supplier selection, release of PO up to receipt of material.
8.Engage in negotiations with the supplier for terms and price.
9.Establish and maintain professional relationships with suppliers to facilitate best purchasing practices.
10.Provide reports to higher management on a periodic basis.
11.Plan and implement cost reduction by way of negotiations and alternative sourcing.
12.Study market trends and stay current with the latest developments in services, materials and products.
13.Initiate and lead new supplier development project with cross-functional team.
Job Requirements:
1.Bachelor Degree, Mechanical Engineering, and/or equivalent experience in strategic purchasing of component raw materials.
2.Strong understanding of strategic materials purchasing.
3.Good SAP experience with MM module.
4.Excellent time management and project scheduling with contingency plans.
5.International business exposure.
6.Good communication with difference cultures.
7.Good oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
8.Good team player, details oriented and results driven.
9.Attitude toward working: Hard working, results oriented, able to motivate team spirits and meet exceed goals, and able to work under pressure.
10.Ethnical business practices: Willing and able to serve as a role model with high standards.
11.The position requires frequent traveling, up to 30% of the time.
