Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities
? DESIGN
o Assist to Create Lighting Concepts
o Develop schematic drawings on CAD.
o Manage & coordinate application design with clients, lighting manufacturers and third parties and inter-nally.
o Provide information required by the sales department so they can prepare accurate quotations.
o Calculate luminous output and intensity of the lighting system, make layout plans, work drawing and documentation of the lighting applications.
o Communication with related parties for lighting application / projects related issues.
o Manage, coordinate and supervise the installation of the light fixtures to meet client’s expectation.
o Focusing of light fixtures on site
o Research and design of new lighting solutions and products.
o Using Dialux or other lighting design software, conduct analysis and comparative technical & economic survey.
o Testing products
o Prepare presentation
o Prepare 3D renderings
o Coordinate projects with Architects, Designers, Clients on site and remotely
? TECHNICAL SUPPORT
o Perform investigation, fault-finding and problem solving to clients and contractors on installation/ set-ting / aiming of light fittings according to approved design.
o Provide support and solutions to Sale, Marketing, Engineering and Production departments for issues related to design, product development / improvement & manufacturing.
o Prepare product information for internal and external users by developing and managing photometric data library, data sheet and plug-in
o Assist in the creation and development of competitive product comparisons and Sales/marketing tools
o Give input and assist on products developments
? QUALITY ASSURANCE
o Enforce the company Quality process and system
o Other duties as assigned
Profile
? Higher diploma or above in architecture, design, engineering or related discipline is an advantage.
? Experience in lighting consultants/integrators or field application with experience in handling technical lighting problems is preferred.
? From 1 to 2 years working experience in the field of lighting design
? Familiar with AutoCAD, Adobe softwares (Photoshop, InDesign, …), MS Office, and DIALUX EVO.
? Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
? Fresh graduates who are strongly interested in lighting are welcome.
? Personal qualities required: Self-motivated, Proactive, Rigorous, Organized, Autonomous person, strong commu-nication skills
