PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES:
?Establish and communicate Business Unit objectives and assignments.
?Define and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans and annual operating objectives.
?Meet with Executive Leadership at least monthly to review and evaluate KOI,s.
?Attend quarterly business reviews with key customers.
?Partner with other leaders to establish strategic plans and objectives.
?Ensure effective communication of strategy as required between cross functional teams to ensure project / product or service has a smooth and timely transition through all phases of documented development processes
?Work with the Site director and Management team with regard to coordination of team members to ensure completion of all commitments made relative to product development timeliness, delivery, quality and other required business metrics, and that customer satisfaction is closely monitored
?Support production sites for projects, costs, quality and other customer related matters through leadership and expertise.
?Responsible for tracking relevant metrics and drive action items based on results.
?Implement Flagship program, Project improvement plan across manufacturing sites, external partners, and customers.
?Work across functions on complex and/or critical matters to influence fair outcomes and deployment of project activities that have strategic or tactical importance to Flextronics and its customers

REQUIRED SKILLS:
?Ability to identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems.
?Able to utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, continuously striving to improve value.
?Possesses strong business acumen and proven ability to improve key financial results.
?Ability to think strategically, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
?Demonstrates expert operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
?Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flextronics and related business.
?Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.
?Recognizes and develops talent as a key element of executing operational business plans. Ensures Flextronics values are part of site work life. Provides strategic leadership for the function and the site. Technical project management in an NPI environment, able to lead a cross functional team across various sites in a region(s), be able to motivate the employees and lead by example, deliver the project deliverables including but not limited to ramping the new project to cost.
?Travel to related Flextronics sites and customer bases required.
?Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and operations functions.
?Experience managing complex and multiple programs, projects, customers, and sites, including transferring programs to low-cost regions and driving high levels of customer satisfaction.
?Ability to influence and successfully lead in a fast-paced, matrix-reporting, multi-cultural environment.
?An effective communicator with customers, suppliers, executives, peers, and subordinates.
?Strategic thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
?Well versed in all MS Office applications.
?English fluency is a must. Multiple language capabilities are a plus.
