Project management of the technical aspects of NPD and EPD initiatives. Communicating and working with both      internal and external stakeholders to drive activities for device projects.

- To ensure the product design meets the business requirements and can be manufactured

- To specify and align test protocols with the wider team, conduct product evaluation and control plans to meet quality targets for mass production

- Creation of component and BoM specifications on documentation system

- Generate and protect technical invention through IP whenever possible.

- Define manufacturing plans to ensure supply meets business needs.

- Participate in the audit process of new suppliers.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

- Fluent in English (spoken and written).

- Good communication and presentation skills.

- Project management – the ability to work as part of a team, but under own initiative to deliver project requirements and identify next steps.

- An understanding of packaging / device technologies. An appreciation of injection moulding and assembly / manufacturing technologies.

- Relevant experience in product manufacture and assembly in a manufacturing environment.

- Experience of specification creation of design and manufacturing documentation including BoM, process/assembly flow charts, work instructions, QCP.

- Basic understanding of quality tools including AQL’s, CPK analysis and SPC.

- Experience in supplier audit process and being able to recommend good manufacturing practice.

- Good MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook skills.

- Experience in using CAD software such as ProE, Solid Works, PSpice, MatLab, MiniTab etc would be advantageous.
