职位描述
Key Responsibilities
l Understand Design Intent and drive each development in region from an aesthetic point of view.
l Co-ordinate sample yardage, materials trials & appropriate materials testing as required, in order to meet specific calendar milestones.
l Manage development timeline and communication with both internal and external partners to ensure on-time commercialization of specific materials.
l Participate in regular cross-functional meetings, particularly with PD to identify and react to changes in raw material requirements
l Understand the capability of current mill base in region.
l Research and identify new mills for innovation and development opportunities
l As required, conduct initial on-boarding and assessment of new mills to ensure they understand our development processes, key quality standards, and can meet our basic requirements for sample production.
l Explore current market, and trending materials in accessories, and identify any local opportunities.
l Support specific projects and business initiatives as required during the business year.
Requirements: Education & Experience Requirements
l Formal textile education – textile or related degree preferable.
l Minimum of 5 years within athletics footwear fabric production, fabric sourcing or development.
l Knowledge of fabric specifications and performances
l Specific process knowledge, e.g printing, washing, trims development an advantage
l Good written and oral English
