Work with RTW Design and Product Development team in US:

Sources new materials within Asia region; includes sourcing off of specific direction and sending new articles founds in the local markets.

 Responsible for tracking all lab dips, strike offs, knit downs, handlooms from mills based in Asia. Coordinate and track submits to US teams.

Coordinates proto and SMS yardage requests on behalf of factory.

Obtains FDS (fabric detail sheet) and reviews-negotiates pricing/MOQ (provides counter offers if the can find less expensive options)

 Helps facilitate fabric testing yardages to third party labs (for mills based in China and EU mills shipping to China)

Work with RTW Production team in US:

Pre-reviews bulk fabrics from China mills, when orders are close to be completed. Then send to US for final approval.

Help coordinate fabric testing from fabric mill to Lab and provides results. This needs to be tracked on development fabric and bulk production fabric.

 Will issue a blanket purchase order for our nominated mills only, in order to get fabric orders started. Once our full package vendors receive their garment purchase orders, coordinate with vendor to take over our bulk purchase order that was issued to the mill.
