职位描述

职责描述:

-Clear analysis of the opportunity offered by the retail chains, distribution and food service channels in Chinese Mainland

-An executable go to market plan for North China

-Development of new customers through market assessments, range building and commercial analysis 

-Export sales and GP by customer

-Developing a framework and process for managing selected new Chinese mainland customers

-Ensuring that customers meet the Woolworths values and will be strong advocates of our brands

-Familiarise with Woolworths, our export process and our range of own brand products 

-Engage with potential partners, including retailers, distributors and food service to recommend the most appropriate market entry to deliver our agreed strategy 

-Develop a deep understanding of the potential new customers and the Chinese Mainland market to help tailor ranges for export 

-Understand the channel structures and pricing mechanics of each channel to help ensure that Woolworths is set up to provide optimal supply 

-Manage the regulatory requirements alongside the selected partners 

-Manage the contractual process with the selected partners 

-Work closely with the Woolworths marketing team and the partners to ensure a successful launch 

-Work closely with the Woolworths operations and logistics teams to ensure on time product delivery 

-Set up and execute ongoing key account management processes with the partners to maximise sales and grow the Woolworths brands 

-Continue business development activity to grow the Woolworths business in Chinese Mainland

-Potential for some irregular hours to allow engagement with other overseas based colleagues

-Ability to communicate fully and regularly in English as Woolworths business language 

Expected travel around Chinese Mainland and also to Australia a number of times each year 


Requirements:

●Fluent spoken and written Chinese and English 

●Understanding of the Chinese retail market 

●Strong connections with Chinese retailers and distributors 

●International trade experience including some knowledge of the food registration and import process into Chinese Mainland 

●Extensive knowledge of the retail/wholesale supply channels and value chain dynamics in Chinese Mainland 

●Strong sales, account management, customer relationship building and business development skills 

●Understanding of retail/wholesale supply channels and pricing mechanisms 

●At least 5 years experience in retail/FMCG category management, account management and/or international trade in Chinese Mainland

●Proven success in customer relationship management or account management 

●Proven success in developing and sustaining new business 

●Outstanding stakeholder management, with the ability to inspire peers and stakeholders 

●Experience of working in cross culturally 

●Ability to work in a faced paced, ever changing environment with multiple projects at any one time
