The Role
As supplier Quality Inspector, you should be responsible for inspecting products from the beginning to final in divided split of production at vendor's site. You should be in excellent communication with your line manager and team members to report the process of production and make defect cause analysis, raising improvement actions. You are willing to long term travel on site. You should be clear mind, time sensitive and well manage your working pressure.
Main duties / responsibilities
- Making process and final inspections for specified components and products from suppliers
- Ensure quality for delivery products comply with quality specifications and drawings
- Monitoring and witnessing suppliers' assembling, manufacturing, and testing process
- Reviewing supplier's test report and specified quality documents, such as PPAP documents etc. for accuracy and compliance to procedure
- Reporting suppliers' manufacturing, assembling status in frequent days
- Ensure quality for delivery products and sign supplier quality inspection reports
- Supporting suppliers to optimize supplier' s manufacturing schedule for on time delivery
- Supporting SQE (supplier quality engineer) to audit suppliers, such as process audit etc.
Skills / Experience required
- Bachelor's degree at least, electrical and electronics' education background is preferred
- More than 3 years working experience in quality control department, experience of photovoltaic inverter products or similar field is a plus
- Proficient at inspections of capacitor, voltage controller, cable, and PCBA etc.
- Willing to long term travel on site and oversea travels
- Good English writing and reading skills and medium verbal English
- 3D and 2D CAD software skills
- Solid experience in MS Office
- Team work sprit and interpersonal skills
- Working with an attention to detail and a methodical approach
- A quick learner and be able to work under pressure
