The Role

As product engineer for Photovoltaic Inverter , you must have solid technical background of R&D in PV inverter field. You should have new design or redesign experience for PV Inverter. You should have deep understanding of differences of features between international products and domestic ones. You should be in excellent communication with technical support manager and other functions for all technical consulting. You should be clear mind, time sensitive and well manage your working pressure.

Main duties / responsibilities

• Responsible for new design or redesign of photovoltaic inverter products for local market
• Support commodity managers on supplier development and costs control from technical side

• Making and proposing materials substitution for new products based on current products
• Checking and analyzing new products' documentations from initial product specification to finalized test and performance test reports
• Support commodity manager on specify, select and test approaches for local suppliers
• Monitoring suppliers' testing for specified components
• Analyzing new localized products feasibility for local market
• Making technical clarification for suppliers
• Optimizing suppliers' manufacturing process according to engineering requirements
• Support commodity manager on analyzing suppliers quotation's breakdown on technical wise
• Technical support for suppliers audit

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor degree at least, Electrical or Electronics Engineering education background is preferred
• Product engineers from Top 5 domestic PV inverter manufactures/companies are equally welcome.
• More than 7 years working experience in R&D department of photovoltaic inverter company or similar field
• Rich experience in design complete photovoltaic inverter
• Willing to travel for suppliers' audits and oversee travels
• Strong English verbal and writing skills
• 3D and 2D CAD software skills
• Solid experience in MS Office
• Team work sprit and interpersonal skills
• Working with an attention to detail and a methodical approach
• A quick learner and be able to work under pressure
